QC gov’t announces free pet anti-rabies vax, spay, neuter services schedule – Manila Bulletin

The Quezon City government announced on Sunday, March 13, the schedule and venues of the free anti-rabies vaccination, spay, and neuter services for cats and dogs from March 14-19.

The activities will be conducted by the City Veterinary Department (QCVD) in some barangays in the city.

They will start the anti-rabies vaccination at the Pangasinan Street Covered Court in Brgy. Batasan Hills, Brgy. Escopa II, Brgy. Don Manuel Hall, Makabayan St. in Brgy. Obrero, and at Del Nacia Ville, Brgy Talipapa on Monday, March 14.

Dog and cat owners may also bring their pets for the inoculations at the corner of Biak na Bato and Makatarungan Street in Barangay Manresa on March 15.

The QCVD will also visit the barangay halls of Socorro and Paligsahan, Kitanlad Street in Baranggay Tatalon, Maligaya Park Subdivision in Barangay Pasong Putik, the Area 99 Open Court and Mabuhay Compound in Barangay Sauyo on the same day.

Vaccination of pets will also be held at the Brgy. San Martin De Porres Hall, Area 9 Veterans Village and Mapayapa St. in Brgy. Pasong Tamo on March 16.

It will also be conducted in barangays Bagong Pagasa (San Roque Dubai Area), Old Balara (Liwanag St.), Pansol (Kaingin 2), Santa Lucia (Sitio 5), Pasong Tamo, and Tandang Sora (Philvirra Open Space) on March 17.

Pets of the residents of barangays UP Village (Covered Court), San Agustin (Millionaires Subdivision), and Apolonio Samson (Sampaguita 2) will also be inoculated on March 18.

The QCVD will return to Barangay Sauyo on March 19 to vaccinate cats and dogs at Villa Satornina.

The schedule for the spay and neuter services will be on March 16 in Barangay Escopa III and on March 18 in Barangay Bagbag

The local government said that pet owners may coordinate with their respective barangays for the details of the activies. They can also visit the QCVD Facebook page for further announcements.
