THE City of Delta notes that as we approach the new year, it’s time to ensure your dog is licenced for 2025.
Dog licences are mandatory for all dogs six months or older in the City of Delta, helping to keep dogs safe and support essential community services. Licences are now available for purchase at a discounted rate until February 28, 2025.
A Delta dog licence provides more than just a tag; it’s a safeguard for your pet. With a current licence, your dog can be returned home more easily and often without needing a trip to the Delta Community Animal Shelter, the City points out.
Why Dog Licencing is Essential:
Renew or purchase your 2025 dog licence at Delta.ca/DogLicences to take advantage of the early bird discount. All 2024 dog licences expire on December 31, 2024, so act fast to secure your 2025 licence. Licences are also available for purchase in-person at Delta City Hall, the Delta Community Animal Shelter, North Delta Recreation Centre, and South Delta Recreation Centre.
