Want to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but hate leaving your dog at home?

You're in luck – along with the Irish holiday's typical pub crawls and parades, the greater Boston area has multiple St. Patrick's events for furry friends. From dog parks to breweries to shopping centers, businesses across greater Boston will welcome dogs to join their owners for St. Patrick's Day festivities with complimentary treats, doggie beer and pet photo-ops.

Here are three dog-friendly St. Patrick's Day events in the greater Boston area to attend this year.

St. Puptrick's Day

Hosted by Night Shift Brewing and Red Dog Pet Resort, St. Puptrick's Day is a free event to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the doggie way. The event will include a pet photo booth, free giveaways, doggie beer and shopping from 14 local, dog-friendly vendors selling everything from dog treats to books.

All friendly, leashed dogs are welcome at St. Puptrick's Day. While the event is free, St Puptrick's Day will be raising money for Pawsitive Pantry, and donations are accepted in cash, Venmo or bags of pet food.

To attend St. Puptrick's Day, dress your dog in green and head to Night Shift Brewing's patio at 87 Santilli Hwy. in Everett from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 8. The event is weather permitting, so be sure to check for updates on Instagram incase of rain or poor weather.

St. Patrick's Day Pup Crawl

Thanks to Polkadog Bakery, dogs can go on their very own St. Patrick's Day crawl around Boston. With complimentary treats and a chance to win $100 to Polkadog Bakery, the pup crawl will start at the bakery and journey around The Street, an open-air shopping center in Chestnut Hill.

Boston's St. Patrick’s Day Pup Crawl will last from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 15. Polkadog, the starting point, is located at 33 Boylston St. in Chestnut Hill. The event is free, but those interested should reserve their spot by downloading The Street Insider app.

St. Patrick's Day at Park-9 Dog Bar

Everett's Park-9 Dog Bar is back with its annual Saint Patrick’s Day party, throwing a day-long bash with green beer, live Celtic music and Irish food specials, including plenty of dog treats.

The event will last from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 at 48 Waters Ave. #1 in Everett. A full list of requirements for dogs to enter the bar and park can be found here.
