JACKSON, Tenn. — Pet lovers have a fun event to attend this weekend.

The Jackson Animal Care Center will host the 3rd annual 2024 Pets Rock Fest at the Jackson Fairgrounds Park on Saturday.

The event is sponsored by Dustin Ring of Dustin Buys Houses, and the City of Jackson.

It includes the ‘Dock Dogs’ event where your dogs can ‘take the plunge’.

There is no fitness requirement for the contest, they can either be a committed doggie paddler or a couch potato.

Times to attend are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Pets are 100% welcomed tomorrow. Kids under 10 are free, it’s only five dollars to get in. 100% of that money goes to the community spay/neuter program,” said Kindall Thomas, co-organizer for Pets Rock Fest.

$20 micro chipping and spay-neuter vouchers will be available at the event.
