If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, check out this list of events and activities around East Texas.

Azalea Arts & Crafts Fair, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., 1510 S. College Avenue in Tyler (Bergfeld Park). The Azalea Arts and Crafts Fair, hosted by the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department, brings together over 70 booths showcasing a variety of handcrafted items, from jewelry and pottery to candles and baked goods. Annual Tyler Azalea Run, Saturday, 8 a.m., 1510 S. College Avenue in Tyler (Bergfeld Park). Created in 1984, the Tyler Azalea Run offers a scenic 10K and 5K route through the picturesque Tyler Azalea Trails. Each spring, the event draws over 100,000 visitors from across the country to enjoy the beauty of the azalea season. Runners will start at College St. at Bergfeld Park, navigating a mix of pavement and brick streets with rolling hills. Information: tylerazalearun.com.

Baby Block Party, Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon, 201 S. College Avenue in Tyler (Tyler Public Library). The Baby Block Party is a fun, informative event for families with babies to children up to 3 years old, featuring age-appropriate activities and free developmental screenings using the Ages and Stages Questionnaire. Families will complete a checklist of their child’s developmental skills and have the chance to consult with child development specialists. Dog Food topper - Getquelle365

Sourdough Workshop, Saturday, noon to 3 p.m., 112 S. Broadway Avenue in Tyler (Good Vibes Nutrition Cafe & More). Join Angie Gillett from Gillett Farmstead for a hands-on sourdough workshop. In this three-hour class, Angie will guide you through the process of making golden-crusted sourdough from scratch. Choose between two options: Tier 1 ($35) for a demonstration with a starter, guide, and recipe card, or Tier 2 ($100) for a hands-on experience with a full baking kit and a mini sourdough loaf to take home. Clay & Coffee, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., 1300 S. Mahon Avenue in Tyler (Tyler Museum of Art). Clay & Coffee is an artisan market that will showcase Texas-based ceramicists selling handmade mugs and unique ceramics, along with locally roasted coffee beans and related supplies. The event will offer complimentary beverages from Likewise Coffee. Admission to the museum will be free, and there will be art activities for all ages to enjoy. Strut Your Mutt, Saturday, 10 to 11:30 a.m., 303 H. G. Mosley Parkway in Longview (Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center). The annual 1-Mile Wag Walk is back, offering a day of fun, vendors, music, and activities for both kids and dogs—all while supporting the shelter animals at Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center. Registration is required to participate, with each dog needing its own walker (must be 13 or older). Participants will receive an event T-shirt and dog bandanna. Please note, dogs must be current on vaccinations, non-aggressive, and female dogs must not be in heat. Leashes must be no longer than 6 feet, and retractable leashes are not allowed. Globe of Death Stunt Show, Saturday, noon to 3 p.m., 3400 N 4th Street in Longview (Roughneck Harley-Davidson). The Globe of Death Squad is back at Roughneck Harley-Davidson for a stunt show. Watch thrills as performers take on the high-energy Globe of Death, plus enjoy food trucks, beverages, and giveaways. Open to the public. Information: www.facebook.com/RoughneckHarleyDavidson.

Petals & Paws Spring Fling, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 2502 E. Travis Street in Marshall (City of Marshall Pet Adoption Center). The Green Thumbs Up Garden Club invites the community to a day of gardening fun and family-friendly activities. Enjoy a plant sale, a kid zone, face painting, food vendors, artisans, and live music from a DJ. Proceeds from the plant sale will support lifesaving programs at the City of Marshall Pet Adoption Center. Information: www.facebook.com/FriendsOfMA.

Annual Cuddle A Farm Animal Day, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 157 Private Road 1217 in Longview (Bel Amour Farm). The 3rd Annual Cuddle A Farm Animal Day invites visitors to connect with a variety of animals, including chickens, goats, pigs, and the Morgan Horse. Guests can enjoy the farm’s nature trail, watch youth horsemanship demonstrations, and engage in fun crafts and activities for kids. Proceeds benefit a scholarship program that provides selected children with a 12-week, all-tuition-paid riding lesson experience. Vendors, including food vendors, are welcome to participate.
