Take a box, put sand in it, and let your cat dig for toys.
Hide things in the sand for your cat to find.
Worried your cat might use the box as a toilet? Use a flat thing like a plastic sheet under the sand.
This also makes the search area smaller for your cat.

Your cat can’t join beach games like volleyball or badminton.
But they can play fetch if they like it.
Bring their favorite ball and let them bring it back to you. Don’t throw it too far!
