Introducing Biscuit, a Siberian Husky with a tale of transformation. For years, Biscuit endured a life confined to a chain, a stark contrast to the freedom and care he deserved. However, his story took a turn towards hope. Enter Amy Hines, a compassionate staff member at Dogs Deserve Better, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of such dogs. Amy’s path led her to Kentucky, where she encountered not just Biscuit, but a total of eight dogs living in similar conditions. Struck by the sight of these animals left outside without shelter, Amy felt a deep conviction that she couldn’t simply walk away. Motivated by compassion and a sense of urgency, she was determined to change their fate immediately.

Amy knew that she had to take action and decided to stop her vehicle and save one of them. However, she decided to go all the way and took the opportunity to speak with the owner and rescued all eight of these dogs from the property. Her first rescue, Biscuit was taken to their Good News Rehab Center which is located in Virginia.
