When Thor looked at you with those soulful eyes, you knew that he was a fighter. The first time Marta with MCP Rescue saw him, she knew that Thor’s survival was touch and go. The vet couldn’t promise that he would make it, but they were determined to do everything in their power to give him a fighting chance. As Thor went through the first blood transfusion, it was clear he was a warrior when weakly wagged his tail. With tears in her eyes, Marta thanked him for his determined spirit. It wasn’t long before Thor found his forever home. An email arrived from a family who had a dog named Rizzo, and they were looking for a companion for their beloved pet. Thor’s rescuers knew that this was the perfect match. When the family first saw Thor on Instagram, they fell in love with his sweet face and knew they had to bring him home. Thor quickly settled into his new life, following Rizzo around and mimicking everything his new big brother did.
Thor proved to be an energetic and loving addition to the family. Despite going through such a difficult and traumatic experience, Thor remained a sweet and happy dog throughout his journey. His resilience and unwavering spirit blew everyone away. He wasn’t just a survivor; he was an inspiration!
