NEPTUNE CITY, NJ. — Cadet®, a dog chew and treat brand under the Central Garden & Pet portfolio, introduced its latest trio of products: Chewalicious™ No Rawhide Chews, Chef’s Specialties™ Beef Hide Shish Kabobs, and Homestyle® Jerky Turducken Recipe.

“As pet parents ourselves, we know firsthand just how rewarding it is to see our dogs excited for high-quality chews they love and we feel good giving,” said Glen S. Axelrod, president and chief executive officer of Cadet. “That’s why we at Cadet can’t wait for furry friends to experience our newest chews that not only deliver exciting combinations of flavors and textures, but the premium ingredients that define our brand.”

The new Chewalicious No Rawhide Chews represent the first long-lasting chews under Cadet’s Chewalicious line. The chews serve as an easy-to-digest alternative to traditional rawhide and are formulated with chicken. They do not contain any artificial flavors or preservatives, according to Cadet. The chews are available in two varieties — Chewy ‘N Crunchy Braids and Chewy ‘N Crunchy Spirals — combining enticing textures. According to Cadet, the products are made with patent-pending technology and offer textures that help clean teeth as dogs chew.

The new Chef’s Specialties Beef Hide Shish Kabobs expand upon Cadet’s assortment of Beef Hide Shish Kabobs that are inspired by human foods. These chews are formulated with real ingredients, including beef, salmon, cheese, apple and peanut butter, and are wrapped around premium beef hide, serving as a long-lasting reward chew with naturally occurring collagen. The shish kabob chews come in culinary-inspired flavors including Steakhouse Cheeseburger, Apple Peanut Butter Delight and Grilled Surf & Turf, and are designed for large dogs weighing more than 30 lbs.

The new Homestyle Jerky Turducken Recipe is an entirely new treat product. The jerky treats aim to provide dogs with a “flavor medley” of turducken, combining chicken, duck and turkey into one high-protein treat. Formulated with limited ingredients and no artificial colors or flavors, the jerky treats are perfect for rewarding, according to Cadet.
