Joe Rogan Bursts Into Laughter Over Donald Trump’s “Cats and Dogs” Debate as Tom Segura Gives Honest Verdict

Donald Trump, his running mate JD Vance, and the Republicans seem to want to give a very “animalist” tone to this presidential campaign. During the debate against his Democratic rival Kamala Harris on September 10, the Republican brought up some strange accusations.

Trump accused Democrats of encouraging immigration, which he called “dangerous” by claiming that Haitian immigrants eat pet cats and dogs. A hoax that has caught on like wildfire on the Internet. So when Joe Rogan talked about this very debate on a recent edition of his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, he and his guest Tom Segura couldn’t help but bring out the bizarre claim by the Republican and reveal what went wrong for the former United States President.

During the conversation, Rogan revealed that to him, the debate was all about preparation. All the two politicians had to do was just be mentally prepared for the debate with some mock answers. According to him, it was Harris who stood out with her preparation. However, the same cannot be said about Trump. He said, “He’s not working with a team that’s like, I mean, I know he’s doing mock debates. I know he did one with, I think he did one with Tulsi Gabbard, but someone needs to tell him, like, You’ve got these tiny little windows, and you should have all the words ready for those windows. He should not be repeating things.”

It was then that Segura jumped in and revealed that, for Trump; the preparation is a little different. His process simply focuses on not getting carried away. Rogan soon chimed in and reminded him of the cat and dog statement that surely left him and his guest in splits. In fact, Rogan couldn’t talk for a few minutes while his guest added, “Don’t say wild sh*t; people are eating cats and dogs, and, you know, they’re f**king coming in here eating all our pets. And, you know, you’re just watching; you’re like, ‘What?’ This is f**king insane.”

Well, it surely looks like Rogan truly enjoyed the historic moment gifted to the world by the former United States President. However, despite all the mockery, it seems like Trump and others from his party are busy spreading the information. But is there any truth to the accusation?

Trump and the hoax of Haitian immigrants

It started a week ago, with an anonymous message on Facebook from someone saying that Haitian immigrants had eaten the cat of a friend of his daughter’s. Several accounts shared the notion and on Monday Trump’s own number 2, J.D. Vance poured fuel to the claim. Now the Republican Party signs read: “Don’t eat pets; vote Republican.” In 2020, about 60,000 people lived in Springfield. Since then, nearly 20,000 Haitians have arrived, fleeing one of the most violent countries. They found work in factories, revitalized the city, but also put municipal services to the test.

The Springfield City Council has already clarified that there is no evidence of immigrants harming pets, but nothing prevented the former president from airing the hoax in front of millions of spectators hours later.
