A guinea pig, two cats and a dog available for adoption in Lane County

Greenhill Humane Society

RC is a 5-year-old guinea pig who is friendly, social and ready to meet his family. In the mornings, he is always the first to greet staff with his cute squeaks and enjoys socialization, according to the Greenhill Humane Society.

He does well with handling and being picked up but loves to explore on the ground and run. When out for floor time, he loves to run through his pink tunnel and show off his handsome self by running over for a pet. RC is also a huge foodie and veggies are the way to his heart.

RC is a fun, well-rounded guinea pig that would make an excellent addition to a family looking for some piggie love. He would make a wonderful pet for gentle kids looking for a friend. His adoption fee includes a certificate for a free vet exam. If you are interested in adopting some of our wonderful guinea pigs or want to learn more about guinea pigs as pets, please call Greenhill for resources.

Greenhill Humane Society is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 88530 Green Hill Rd in Eugene. For more information call (541) 689.1503 or visit www.green-hill.org.

Mamacita and Beau are a marvelous mother-and-son bonded pair of young adult cats looking for a loving home.

Mamacita came to CRAN as a rescue kitty with a litter of kittens that included Beau; all her other kittens have found homes, and now it’s this pair's turn to find a devoted home to enjoy some loving attention.

Mamacita and Beau are both still a bit shy and need an adopter who is willing to create a quiet and safe space for them to acclimate to their new home.  Both cats are extremely sweet and will reward you in spades with love and affection! They have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and are negative for FIV & FeLV.

For more info, please call 541-225-4955 option 1, or visit CatRescues.org.
