Pretty is an 11-month-old Labrador retriever mix who came to the Humane Society of Missouri’s Macklind Avenue headquarters in May as an owner surrender. Since she’s still young, Pretty would love a family that can take her for walks and play with her.
To adopt: Call the Macklind Avenue Headquarters at 314-951-1562 or visit hsmo.org/adopt.
Rooster is a 22-year-old Tennessee walking horse who came to Longmeadow Rescue Ranch last October when his previous owner passed away. Straight out of the gate, Rooster had personality and a cute face to go with it. He enjoys time with his equine friends and isn’t fond of the “slow life.” The Longmeadow team recommends a confident, intermediate rider to help him work on his manners.
To adopt: Call Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in Union at 636-583-8759 to schedule an interview.
Tank is a 6-year-old Great Dane mix who came to HSMO’s Maryland Heights shelter in July when his previous owner passed away. Tank is good on a leash and a sweet gentleman. He would love a comfy couch to curl up on in his golden years.
To adopt: Call the Best Buddy Pet Center in Maryland Heights at 314-951-1588 or visit hsmo.org/adopt.
Last week’s pets: Dogs named Blazing Star and Kaido and a horse named Wynona are all still available.
