Spunky, sweet and wiggly, this medium size pup is ready to hop into her forever home. She was originally adopted as a puppy, then found as a stray six years later with no owner to reclaim her. She is extremely friendly with people and kids and never meets a stranger. Dixie struggles with separation anxiety and will need to be put in a crate when left alone. She would love a home with a family that works from home or is retired. She gets along with other dogs with a proper introduction, but prefers them on the calmer side to match her own energy. Dixie would do best without cats in the home. True to her Jack Russell terrier breed, she tends to chase prey animals. She is very smart, housebroken and a great mix of affectionate and independent.
