REDDING, Calif. — In this week's Pet of the Week segment, Haven Humane introduced us to Vinnie the one-year-old pit mix.
Katrina Lovitt-Swain with the Haven Humane Society (HHS) said this superstar has strutted his stuff in two Christmas parades, helped students de-stress during finals week, and won hearts at their PetSmart kiosk.
Vinnie spent two months in a foster home recovering from injury and illness and, in that time, HHS learned he is what they like to refer as a “unicorn,” or a dog who does well with kids, cats and other dogs.
This super playful pup loves the opportunity to play with furry siblings every chance he gets. Vinnie loves toys, treats and pretty much anything he can get he can get his teeth on, some of his favorite treats include apples and bananas!
Swain said Vinnie has a ton of personality and is never afraid to tell you what is on his mind.
This sweet pup would thrive in a home that is active and full of love.
For more information on how to adopt Vinnie, visit his PetFinder page HERE or visit Haven Humane's webpage HERE.
And if you don't have room in your home but room in your heart you can make a donation HERE and help shelter animals find their fur-ever home this holiday season.
