ARLINGTON, VA. — The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has hired Meghan Dicks as director of membership and engagement, effective Sept. 23.
In this position, Dicks will play a central role in setting exemplary service and experience standards for current members, while also working with Sarah Novak, chief operating officer, to identify and acquire new members.
Before joining the AFIA, Dicks served as the regulatory and scientific affairs manager at ADM Animal and Pet Nutrition, North America, where she provided regulatory compliance and animal food safety guidance for ADM’s animal food and pet product portfolio in North America. She also has previous industry experience as an animal food ingredients buyer and merchandiser.
“We are thrilled to welcome Meghan to the AFIA team as the director of membership and engagement,” Novak said. “Having previously worked for an AFIA member and actively participated in our committees, Meghan brings a wealth of experience and insights into maximizing membership benefits. She is eager to share her enthusiasm and knowledge with prospective members, helping to enhance their engagement and experience with AFIA.”
Dicks holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics and agricultural business, with a focus on international business marketing, and a minor in economics from New Mexico State University.
