The returning range of products is perfect for the spring and summer months
Aldi has announced the return of a popular range of products perfect for pet parents across the country as the UK continues to boast glorious weather.
With temperatures set to reach 27C over the next few days, pooch owners might be looking for ways to keep their furry friends cool during the warm months.
Now, supermarket giant Aldi has revealed that its ‘pet cooling range' is returning to stores next week, including sprinkler mats and cooling vests, with products starting at just £2.99.
Aldi's returning range allows pet owners to keep their pets cool during the warm months, but shoppers are warned that as with all of the Specialbuys, pooch parents must be quick because “once they're gone, they're gone”.
Found in the popular middle aisle, shoppers will be able to get their hands on Aldi's Dog Sprinkler Mat for just £6.99 which can be connected to a hose pipe to create hours of cooling water play.
Not all dog owners are aware that their furry friends can actually burn just like humans. You can create some shade for your pooch using the Aldi Sunshade Dog Bed, £16.99, which provides shade and sun protection up to UV (ultraviolet) 50.
If you find it hard to keep your dog cool while relaxing at home, Aldi's Pet Cooling Mat, £5.99, claims to offer an “immediate chilling effort” created by pressure activated gel which fits inside crates, in pet beds or even off the ground. And its large size means that it should be suitable for dogs of all sizes.
Dog owners should be aware that the RSPCA advises that if you can't comfortably hold your hand on the floor for five seconds, then it is too warm for your dog's sensitive paws.
Another item in the returning Aldi range is the Pet Cooling Vest which is available from sizes XS to L, and can be worn during walks or in the home. And the Pet Cooling Towel offers instantly relief for your pooch and can be soaked in water, chilled in the fridge and popped onto your dog.
It is imperative that you keep your pets hydrated during warm weather. The RSPCA advises pet owners to leave extra water around, and keep them cool by adding ice to water bowls. To keep your dogs hydrated while on the move, the Pet Travel Bottle is also available in the returning range which is available in four different styles and transforms into a “spill-free” bowl.
The range will be available in Aldi stores up and down the country from May 18 in the Specialbuys section of the store.
