Aldi has come to the rescue for pet owners who love sofa snuggles with their furry companions but want to keep their furniture fur-free.
The supermarket giant has unveiled a savvy addition to its famous middle aisle – a Pet Sofa Rug priced at £20, and customers are dubbing it “perfect”.
It's designed to shield sofas from pet hair and comes in black, dark grey, or light grey to suit all decors. The 5.5-foot (170-cm) long rug, which easily fits over your sofa, is machine washable for easy cleaning.
The item became an instant hit after featuring on the Money Saver by Dansway Facebook page, garnering high praise from pet lovers.

One shopper said: “These are so good and wash time after time. Well worth the money!” while another remarked, “I have these and also two for the car seats, and they are brilliant. You'd never guess we even had dogs! Not a hair in sight!”.
