Ananya Panday’s pet dog Fudge, a Yorkshire Terrier, has passed away. On Tuesday, the Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actor remembered her pet with a heartwarming post on Instagram, featuring a string of unseen pictures with Fudge.

“2008 – (Eternity) Rest in peace Fudge, I love you fighter. 16 years of a life filled with so much food and joy, I’ll miss you every single day,” she wrote in the post.

In the first photo, Ananya is seen holding a puppy Fudge, the second picture shows the actor, her mother Bhavana Pandey, and her sister Rysa posing for the camera with the pet resting on her mother’s lap.

The third photo shows Ananya, Rysa, and Fudge sleeping in a bedroom. Other frames give glimpses of the growing years of Ananya and Fudge.

Condolences poured in soon after Ananya shared the news on Instagram as several celebrities, including Esha Gupta, Maheep Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Shanaya Kapoor, and Anusha Dandekar, dropped heart emojis.

Actor Sophie Choudhary wrote, “I’m so sorry love.. He will still watch over you from doggy heaven.”

Reacting to the photos, a user commented, “RIP. Pets are like family and losing them is so hard. It’s just not fair that pets don’t live longer. Hoping you find peace in all the happy memories of your sweet pet. So sorry for your loss.”

“Aw so sorry to hear it,” another user reacted.

On the professional front, Ananya Panday has completed Call Me Bae, which will premiere on Prime Video. The comedy-drama series will also see Varun Sood, Vir Das, Lisa Mishra, Muskkaan Jaferi, Gurfateh Pirzada, Vihaan Samat, and Mini Mathur in key roles.
