JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – If you need your pet vaccinated, a clinic will be held in Jonesboro soon.
The Jonesboro Animal Control and NAFA Rescue will hold a low-cost pet vaccination clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.
According to a news release, the clinic will feature discounted $5 vaccinations including rabies, canine (5-in-1), parvo/distemper, and feline (3-in-1).
Officials warn several wild animals recently tested positive for distemper within the city limits. They say distemper is fatal to domesticated dogs and urge them to get vaccinated.
You must be pre-registered by noon on Tuesday, Nov. 12, to participate.
