Animal Foundation finds homes for 55 pets, continues adoption event with no fees

The Animal Foundation has made some progress since it announced that it has reached capacity for its animals.

On Wednesday, the shelter posted on social media that 55 animals got adopted during their adoption event.

The post added that their adoption event will continue on Thursday for those still looking to adopt or foster a medium- or large-sized dog.

This is after they recently announced that they hit capacity at the shelter.

Even though the shelter made a small dent in its capacity issue, they still need help which is why they will be waiving adoption fees on Thursday.

Those looking to foster can also come in without an appointment and find out how to help a dog decompress from shelter life for two or four weeks.
