Autauga County Pet of the Week – Elmore-Autauga News


Shay is an 8-year-old male Alaskan Malamute who has already been neutered. He is an owner turn in because his family didn’t have enough time for him. Shay’s gorgeous, long, and thick coat is black with white markings. He is a big fellow who weighs 95 pounds. Shay is house trained, leash trained, and super well behaved. According to his previous owner, he is good with children and other dogs. Shay is a majestic looking fellow who loves people. He will quickly bond with his new owner and be a very loyal companion.

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
