How to set-up
The setup offers options to mount the camera on a wall or place it on a shelf.
Once powered on, the camera connects to the app — which was easy to set up and use.
I positioned the camera and programmed the app to monitor my two groodles, Theo, 4, and Sadie, 2, while I was at work — receiving notifications whenever my furry friends entered the room.
The reality was quite mundane — lots of sleeping, gazing out the window and the occasional tussle.
I caught Theo barking at a neighbour crossing the street and used the app’s voice feature to speak with him and stop the barking.
I can’t tell how my pets actually feel about hearing my voice through the camera, but it’s certainly nice to have the option.
Along with live mode, I can rewatch and hear footage from earlier in the day to see what they have been up to.
Another handy feature is quality night vision, which I was pleasantly surprised by.

The verdict
This was my first experience with a security camera of any kind and it is safe to say I was not disappointed.
Not only does it blend seamlessly into my decor but it also has a sleek, modern design.
I find myself constantly wanting to check in with my dogs and love the night vision, the ability to rotate the camera around the room, and the two-way conversation ability.
This would make a fantastic gift for any pet owner or homeowner.
Even without pets, the camera can be situated as a general security camera.
