PAHS Pet of the week is Blaze
Prattville Autauga Humane Society
Blaze is PAHS Pet of the Week for July 7.
Blaze is an 8-month-old male Cane Corso mix who must be neutered before adoption. He is a special needs dog because he has had a rough life! Blaze has 2 cherry eyes that will need to be corrected. He only has one ear and it appears that is the result of a botched ‘home ear crop’. Blaze has a black/brindle coat and a docked tail. He currently weighs 46 pounds; and we believe he will be an extra large adult dog. Blaze is very sweet and loves attention. He is okay with other dogs; but it you have another dog we would recommend a ‘meet and greet’ with your dog. Blaze would be good with older children. He is very active and playful; and would appreciate a fenced yard where he could safely play. In spite of everything that has happened in Blaze’s past life–he is a happy guy. If you are a Cane Corso lover or know someone who is–please help us find someone who can help Blaze. He deserves a better life and we are desperate to find someone who can help him have one.
Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
