Over a 30-minute event, dogs and their owners are invited to embody Dorothy’s faithful companion in a playful nod to the palace’s Christmas 2025 theme, ‘The Palace of Oz’.
The owner of the winning Toto-style pooch will receive a family ticket to Christmas at Blenheim Palace – Palace of Oz and illuminated light trail courtesy of My Christmas Trails.
Alongside the Toto contest, the Fun Dog Show Arena will run throughout both days.
Held in a dedicated ring, it features informal competitions like best trick, waggiest tail and more – each celebrating the unique talents of four-legged friends.
Prizes donated by Oxfordshire pet businesses will be awarded to competitors, underscoring DogFest’s community spirit.
DogFest Event Director Tess Drew said: “By offering a dedicated Toto contest and a continuous Fun Dog Show Arena, we’re giving families and their pets memorable ways to engage with Blenheim Palace’s Oz theme.
“It’s an opportunity to celebrate together and to offer a taste of the imaginative experience awaiting visitors this winter.”
