Blythe Animal Shelter hosting free spay, neuter event Jan. 10: Plus, free dog wellness clinic Jan. 11 | Blythe News


The Blythe Animal Shelter will be hosting a pair of upcoming events at the facility (245 South Carlton) for resident families with pets to be aware of on Jan. 10 and Jan. 11.

First, the team will be hosting a free cat/dog spay and neuter event on Jan. 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

“Owned pets only, (two) per household and pets cannot exceed 20-lbs. Please schedule your appointment to confirm your attendance. All pets must be leashed or in a carrier,” stated the Blythe Animal Shelter on Jan. 2. “If you need assistance scheduling your appointment feel free to stop by the Blythe Animal Shelter this week and someone will be happy to help you.”

The Jan. 10 event’s informational flyer also noted vaccines and microchip included.

The next day, on Jan. 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Blythe Animal Shelter will also host a free dog wellness clinic at the facility.

“Please schedule your appointment to confirm your attendance. All pets must be leashed or in a carrier,” stated the Blythe Animal Shelter on Jan. 2. “If you need assistance scheduling your appointment feel free to stop by the Blythe Shelter this week and someone will be happy to help you.”

The Jan. 11 clinic’s informational flyer also noted the vaccines available as DA2PPV; bordatella; and rabies.

Additional services noted included deworming; flea treatment; tick treatment; and microchipping.
