Even while serving in the military, Jungkook continues to connect with fans and share his artistic journey, proving why he remains one of the most beloved global stars.
BTS’ Jungkook is currently serving his mandatory military service in South Korea, staying out of the public eye. Despite the hiatus, the K-pop star reached out to his fans on December 18, 2024, with a heartfelt message on Weverse. He asked fans if they were doing well, reminded them to stay healthy, and urged them to eat regularly and avoid illness or injury. He ended the note with, “I miss you,” expressing his love for his supporters.
However, while Jungkook has been away, his pet dog, Bam, has faced online hate. Some malicious comments were directed at both Jungkook and Bam, including harmful remarks about Yeontan, BTS V's late dog. In response, Jungkook’s fans, known as ARMY, rallied together to defend the duo and flooded the account with positive and loving messages.
Alongside this, Jungkook surprised fans by launching a new YouTube channel named “Bam’s Dad,” hinting at content featuring his dog. Fans are excited to see more of the BTS member’s life through his pet-related videos.
Jungkook’s solo career has been successful as well. His 2023 album GOLDEN featured hit tracks like “SEVEN” and “3D.” A documentary about its creation, titled I AM STILL, was released, followed by an extended docuseries, I AM STILL THE ORIGINAL, in December 2024.
Even while serving in the military, Jungkook continues to connect with fans and share his artistic journey, proving why he remains one of the most beloved global stars. ARMY’s support for Jungkook and Bam remains strong, especially during this time.
