BTS’ Jungkook reacts to hateful remarks to his pet dog Bam with love, dedicates heartfelt ‘miss you’ post to fans

K-pop sensation Jungkook is currently fulfilling South Korea's mandatory military service. While stepping away from the spotlight, the BTS member has often shared glimpses of his life with ARMY (BTS fans) and reaffirmed his affection and gratitude during this temporary break. On December 18, 2024, Jungkook reached out to his followers through Weverse, a platform dedicated to fan interactions.

In a heartfelt message, he inquired about their well-being and encouraged them to prioritize their health, eat properly, and take precautions to avoid illness or injury. He ended the post with a poignant, “I miss you,” leaving fans deeply moved.

During this time, fans rallied in support of Jungkook after he became the target of online hostility. A wave of hateful comments on Instagram not only targeted Jungkook but also his Doberman, Bam. Shockingly, some of these messages maliciously referenced Yeontan, the late dog of fellow BTS member V, and included cruel wishes.

In response, ARMY, BTS’s loyal fanbase, flooded the platform with messages of love and positivity, countering the negativity with unwavering support.

Adding a new layer to his connection with fans, Jungkook recently launched a YouTube channel called Bam’s Dad, hinting at potential content centered around his beloved pet. Fans are eagerly anticipating videos that offer a glimpse into this personal side of Jungkook’s life.

Jungkook’s artistic endeavors have also been in the spotlight in recent years. In 2023, he debuted as a solo artist with the album GOLDEN, featuring hit tracks like ‘Seven' (featuring Latto) and ‘3D' (featuring Jack Harlow). Alongside the album, he released a documentary titled I AM STILL, which detailed the 150-day journey of creating GOLDEN and its subsequent release. On December 3, 2024, an extended documentary, ‘I AM STILL THE ORIGINAL', premiered, offering an additional 55 minutes of exclusive footage. This extension delved into Jungkook’s creative inspirations and included never-before-seen performances and behind-the-scenes moments, providing fans with an even deeper appreciation of his artistry.Despite the demands of military service, Jungkook continues to connect with fans through heartfelt messages and creative projects. His enduring impact as a global icon is evident in the unwavering support of ARMY, who stand firmly by him and Bam during this chapter of his life.
