Buddy’s story is both heartwarming and inspiring — a tale of transformation and resilience. Buddy is a nearly 2 year old puppy mill dog. He arrived in January thin and filthy. His demeanor was interesting; very quiet and still, perhaps shutdown. His life at the mill was less than glamorous. He has since spent time with many handlers here, and has graduated from the local prison socialization project. He is now showing his true colors. His personality is as vibrant as his red curly coat. Bright, cheery and fun to be around. This boy is deserving of a home with an active lifestyle, possibly with older children. Whether it be play time or training time this boy is game. He will make a fabulous partner. He is even good with other dogs! Let’s make Buddy’s tale unforgettable!
Currently, he resides at Char-Wills German Shepherd Rescue. This organization, dedicated to the German Shepherd breed, is located in the scenic mountains of Schuylkill County, PA. Our expanding network of volunteers and foster homes is committed to placing German Shepherds in responsible and loving environments. Char-Wills operates as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.
