n Budweiser’s heartwarming 2014 Super Bowl commercial dubbed “Puppy Love,” audiences were captivated by the endearing tale of friendship that blossomed between a lively Labrador Retriever pup and a majestic Clydesdale horse, forging an unbreakable bond. The storyline unfolds with the puppy eagerly sneaking over to the neighbor’s farm to visit its equine companion, forming a special connection that transcends species boundaries.
However, their companionship is abruptly interrupted when the pup is adopted and whisked away, leaving the Clydesdale visibly distraught. Determined to reunite with its beloved friend, the Clydesdale gallops alongside a Budweiser wagon, eventually tracking down the puppy and joyously reuniting with it.
Yet, just when their reunion seems blissfully complete, a new obstacle emerges in the form of social distancing, casting a poignant reminder of the challenges faced in maintaining connections amid external circumstances. Despite the physical barrier, their enduring bond remains a testament to the power of friendship and love.
That’s where their new commercial, “Reunited With Buds,” comes into play.

With places beginning to plan reopening, it shows a bar getting ready for business. “We can’t wait to see our buds. But when we do, let’s do it safely,” the commercial says at the end.

These friends are on course to see each other again soon, and they can’t wait!
