BUTLER COUNTY, KY.- It’s the season of giving and while we normally give our family gifts, we can’t forget our furry friends.
Thanks to the Butler County Animal Shelter and Chewy, hundreds of animals won’t be forgotten. They are giving away thousands of dollars worth of animal litter and food for free at their drive-through giveaway. The shelter receives so much year-round, and now it’s their time to give back.
The president of Friends of Butler County Animals, Jeanie Locke shares how this giveaway makes her feel. Jeanie says, “It makes our heart happy that we can feed the animals that are in the community that may be lacking, and we’re just so happy to be able to do this for them. ”
