Hyderabad: Forensic experts conducting the post-mortem of 35-year-old Pavan Kumar, found dead in his rented room in Madhura Nagar on May 4, have initially concluded that he died of a cardiac arrest.When police arrived at the scene, they discovered injuries on Pavan Kumar's private parts and observed his Siberian Husky nearby, with blood visible around its mouth. A police source suggested the dog may have caused the injuries posthumously in a possible attempt to rouse its owner, mistaking his unresponsiveness for sleep.“The exact cause of death will be confirmed once the final autopsy report is available,” the source added.A detailed investigation is underway. Police officials confirmed that further action will be based on the complete post-mortem findings and other gathered evidence.Pavan Kumar, originally from Andhra Pradesh, was employed by a local jeweller. He had been living in the city with a roommate, Sandeep. Though married with a daughter, Pavan Kumar had divorced his wife and was staying alone at the time of his death, authorities said.
