Kyia is a 3-year-old mixed breed dog who is shy to new people but warms up to become an extremely friendly, affectionate dog. She is part of the Greenhill's Home for the Holidays adoption promotion, so her adoption fee has been reduced to $50 until Dec. 31.
She is looking for a patient, calm family that will allow her to blossom on her own time and show her the world isn't so scary. Once she trusts you, she adores belly rubs and showing off her big smile. Kyia is also smart and is very treat motivated.
Kyia should meet any potential dog siblings at the shelter prior to her adoption. Due to her reserved nature, shelter staff suspects she would do best with another respectful dog in the household but no small animals. She weighs about 40 pounds, is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines.
