Cats, dogs, and more available for adoption in Lane County

Greenhill Humane Society

Kyia is a 3-year-old mixed breed dog who is shy to new people but warms up to become an extremely friendly, affectionate dog. She is part of the Greenhill's Home for the Holidays adoption promotion, so her adoption fee has been reduced to $50 until Dec. 31.

She is looking for a patient, calm family that will allow her to blossom on her own time and show her the world isn't so scary. Once she trusts you, she adores belly rubs and showing off her big smile. Kyia is also smart and is very treat motivated.

Kyia should meet any potential dog siblings at the shelter prior to her adoption. Due to her reserved nature, shelter staff suspects she would do best with another respectful dog in the household but no small animals. She weighs about 40 pounds, is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines.

Greenhill Humane Society is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 88530 Green Hill Road in Eugene. For more information call (541) 689.1503 or visit www.green-hill.org.

Oregon Coast Humane Society

Serrano is a 1-year-old cat available for adoption at the Oregon Coast Humane Society in Lane County.Serrano is a 1-year-old cat available for adoption at the Oregon Coast Humane Society in Lane County.

Serrano is a teenage mom who raised a group of kittens and now wants to be a kitten, herself.

As a 1-year-old cat, she would make for the perfect companion. She's both playful and cuddly and is a great officer “helper” who has an excellent typing speed. Just make sure she doesn't “send” an email before you've edited it.

If you're interested in Serrano, come meet her at 2840 Rhododendron Drive in Florence, Oregon, or complete an adoption application online at www.oregoncoasthumanesociety.org. Got questions? Call 541-997-4277.

Cat Rescue and Adoption Network

Justice and Freedom are a bonded pair of 1-year-old brothers looking for a loving forever home.

These two are very intelligent and playful but are scared of loud noises and will thrive in a calm, quiet environment. Given time to acclimate, they will make wonderful and entertaining companions.

Both Justice and Freedom have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and are negative for FIV and FeLV.

Call 541-225-4955 or visit CatRescues.org for more info.
