ST. FRANCIS, WIS. — Charlee Bear, a Gott Pet Products subsidiary, announced Jan. 27 the launch of a new addition to its Beary Tasty Treats line — Nuggets.

Made in the United States and grain-free, Charlee Bear’s Nuggets have a crunchy outside with a soft inside and are less than 4 calories per treat. Each recipe contains protein-rich chickpeas as the first ingredient.

The dog treats are available in five different flavors, including the following:

  • Bearcuterie Bites have an apple and cheese flavor and feature omega 3 fatty acids to support joint and hip health.
  • PB & Beary Parfait is crafted with a peanut butter, strawberry and blueberry flavor and added probiotics to help support digestive health.
  • Shepherd’s Pie contains functional ingredients like cultured yeast and turmeric to support health and vitality.
  • Sunny Side Up features an egg, cheese and bacon flavor, as well as turmeric to promote a healthy immune system.
  • Straw-Beary Swirl is formulated with a strawberry flavor and omega 3 fatty acids to help support skin and coat health.

The new Nuggets join Charlee Bear’s line of Bearnola Bites, Grain Free Crunch, Meaty Bites and Original Crunch. According to Charlee Bear, like all of the company’s products, the Nuggets do not contain any artificial colors or flavors.

“Our goal at Charlee Bear has always been to create treats that are both delicious and healthy,” said Rob Cadenhead, general manager of Gott Pet Products, parent company of Charlee Bear. “Our new Nuggets take that mission to the next level by combining two textures into one captivating treat. And with less than four calories per treat, we’re excited to offer pet parents another guilt-free option to spoil their pups with.”
