Chente, Cheese, Hallie and Kale are ready for adoption – Press Telegram

Here are the pets available for adoption in the Long Beach area this week.

Cheese

Meet Cheese, a 1-year-old domestic medium hair who is handsome and independent — but loves to seek affection. He enjoys chin and back scratches, and loves to eat tuna wet food. Cheese would make a great addition to your family. Come meet him today.

Information about Cheese: The spcaLA P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village and Education Center, 7700 East Spring St. 562-216-2542 or spcaLA.com. Cheese’s identification number is LACA-A-15380.

Chente

Chente is a sweet 1-year-old pointer German shorthaired mix who is looking for his friend for life. He is very social, treat-motivated and appears to be house trained. Chente is friendly, he loves people, and he’s had positive experiences with kids and other dogs, so he could do well in a home with a current canine pal.

Information about Chente: The spcaLA P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village and Education Center, 7700 East Spring St. 562-216-2542 or spcaLA.com. Chente’s identification number is LACA-A-14904.

Hallie

Hallie is an affectionate 3-year-old pit bull-terrier mix who loves to meet new people. She walks well on leash and takes treats gently. She has had positive experiences with a dog of a similar size, and might do well with another dog, but would prefer not to live with any cats. Hallie loves to play with squeaky toys and tennis balls, and she will even play fetch.

Information about Hallie: The spcaLA P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village and Education Center, 7700 East Spring St. 562-216-2542 or spcaLA.com. Hallie’s identification number is LACA-A-8569.

Kale

Meet Kale, a 4-month-old domestic shorthair who is looking for a new place to take root. He is a friendly cat who loves both people and other cats. Kale’s favorite activities include taking long naps in the sun, chasing his roommate around the cat tree, and getting attention from volunteers and staff.

Information about Kale: The spcaLA P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village and Education Center, 7700 East Spring St. 562-216-2542 or spcaLA.com. Kale’s identification number is LACA-A-14590.
