Butterball is a seven-and-a-half-year-old brindle and white pitbull/bulldog mix with a sweet, silly personality. He was an overenthusiastic jumper when he initially arrived at the shelter, but he has been responsive to obedience training and is now much more aware of his size and strength. He is a gentle giant at heart and he could do well in a home with children.
Like many dogs, the shelter sometimes makes Butterball anxious, but he thrives on walks and other excursions and will do even better in a forever home. Butterball is good on the leash and is attentive to anyone with treats, especially peanut butter.
He loves a romp at the park and will pose handsomely for photos! He is also an affectionate dog who loves receiving scratches, and he will kick his leg in the funniest way once you find the perfect spot.
If you’re interested in sharing your home with the joyful bundle of dog that is Butterball, fill out an application and visit him at the shelter today!
