Comer Community Market will host a pet show this Saturday, July 6 at 10 a.m.
This is like a dog show but with any pet. Get the dog brush out! The pet show accepts the cute, the ugly, the common and the rare. Pre-registration would be awesome, organizers say. To pre-register, email farmersmarketcomer@gmail.com. You can also register on the spot between 9 and 9:45 a.m. before the show. The show will be judged in multiple categories and great prizes will be given. Come one, come all! All pet owners are required to be in control of their pets at all times.
Green beans, squash, tomatoes, blueberries, blackberries and a lot of other summer vegetables and fruits are showing up at the market! The Comer Community Market, in conjunction with The Perch, opens on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and features eggs, honey, early summer vegetables, microgreens, baked goods, mushrooms, goat milk bath and body products, plants, kids’ activities, music and crafts. The market is located at 1914 Madison St. Comer.
“Make our town your town and make our market your market,” organizers said.
The market accepts vendors on a week-by-week basis. Follow them on Instagram at comercommunitymarket.
