OXFORD, N.C. (WNCN) — Here’s a nice, “pawsitive” story to start off your week!
The Creedmoor Police Department has partnered with the Granville County Animal Shelter to bring awareness to homeless animals in the county.
According to the shelter, officers each took the time to get to know all of the dogs available for adoption and took photos with them.

“It was truly amazing to watch them interact with these sweet dogs,” the animal shelter said in a message to the community. “We really can’t thank this group enough! It was a pleasure.”
The shelter reminds people that their new best friend could be waiting for them.
“We believe in CommUNITY and that includes our four-legged friends,” the shelter said.
