A US cynologist has named three dog breeds he believes should not be kept in a home where there are young children, the British newspaper reported. “Daily Star”.

Gareth Wing from Florida worked with dogs in law enforcement for 18 years and later began training them privately.

He put Tibetan mastiffs at the top of the list of dangerous dogs for children. The specialist noted that they can reach a height of over 65 inches and weigh up to 68 pounds. “One dog can handle a pack of wolves. And do you think you need something like that in a house with small children? Not necessary at all,” Wing said.

He put Great Danes in second place. The specialist explained that these dogs are very large and can weigh over 90 pounds. Although Great Danes can be wonderful pets, they require too many changes in your daily routine. He is certain that such a dog is “too big for most homes.”

Wing listed the Italian breed Cane Corso at the top of the list of dangerous dogs. According to the cynologist, these large animals, which can weigh up to 50 pounds and stand more than 70 inches tall, are too dangerous to keep at home. “These dogs are too tough for 99.9 percent of humans. I say this not only as a professional, but also as a Cane Corso owner. These are real tanks and you definitely don't need them in your area,” Wing said.
