A Delhi-based couple have announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for their dog which went missing from a hotel in Agra.
The couple, Dipayan Ghosh and Kasturi Patra, had gone on a vacation to Agra and had taken their two pet dogs with them.
They had checked in the dogs at a reputed hotel where they were staying, on November 1 and handed over the care of the dogs to the hotel staff by paying Rs 2,000.
They had gone to Fatehpur Sikri on November 3 and when they returned, they found that one of their dogs had disappeared.
The couple first announced a reward of Rs 20,000 for the safe return of the dog, which was last spotted at the Taj Mahal metro station.
However, when they didn't get any information about it even after two days, they raised the reward to Rs 50,000.
Apart from this, the couple engaged over 30 people to scan the CCTV footage from an area of around 30 km radius to search for the missing dog.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Taj Security) Syed Arib Ahmad told India Today TV that footage from "Smart City" cameras showed that the dog was going towards Shahjahan Garden.
