A recent court filing reveals a harrowing incident involving an unrestrained dog attack, leading to significant injuries for the plaintiff.
On July 5, 2024, Nakwisha Miller filed a complaint in the District Court of Harris County, Texas against Angelina Michele Fonseca and Gage Grewal.

According to the complaint, on September 6, 2023, Miller was making a delivery to the defendants' residence at 1852 Woodbend Village Court in Houston when he was suddenly attacked by their unrestrained dog.
The lawsuit claims that Miller did nothing to provoke the animal and attributes the attack solely to the negligence of Fonseca and Grewal.
The complaint states that "Defendants’ negligence was a proximate cause of the injuries of Plaintiff and was attributable to the dangerous propensities of their animal."

Miller alleges that Fonseca and Grewal were aware or should have been aware of their dog's aggressive nature.
He further accuses them of failing to adequately restrain their pet or provide any warnings about its behavior.
As a result, Miller suffered from severe physical injuries, mental anguish, disfigurement, lost wages, medical expenses, physical impairment, and diminished earning capacity.
The plaintiff is seeking monetary relief not exceeding $250,000 but reserves the right to amend this amount based on future evidence.

The legal action brought forward by Miller seeks actual damages along with pre-judgment and post-judgment interest at the legal rate.
Additionally, he requests compensation for court costs and any other relief deemed appropriate by the court.

Representing Miller is attorney Adam P.
Criaco from Criaco & Samperi law firm.
The case has been assigned Case ID 2024-42724 in Harris County's 61st District Court under Judge Chandra Lawson.
