Winter is almost here and by now we're all feeling the chill in the air – but what about our pets?
While we're all rugged up in warm jumpers and coats, our pets are often left with nothing but their fur to keep them warm.
Sometimes that's enough as Dr. Katrina Warren says dogs with a double coat (golden retrievers, border collies, German shepherds and many more) don't need any extra warmth since they have an undercoat that provides insulation.
But there are still plenty of dogs that feel the chill.
Puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with a single coat and those with low body fat are all much more susceptible to the cold than you might think.
