A dog that was found abused and neglected in Golden Gate Estates is doing a lot better thanks to a good Samaritan and a foster family.The dog named Champ was found suffering but someone saved him by taking him to an emergency pet hospital. He got five procedures and eventually a foster home through Collier County Domestic Animal Services. Champ's foster parents, Kathy and Dan, said he's very mellow and loves everyone he meets.
