The dog hotel “Ebi” is expanding and the company plans to open a multifunctional space, – the hotel's founder, Khatuna Melikishvili, spoke about this with BMGTV.
According to the company's founder, the new space will be built on an area of 5,000 sq m in the suburbs of Tbilisi and will be able to serve all types of pets. If until now the hotel served only small dogs, now it will host cats, birds and even fish along with all types of dogs.
According to her, within a year, only the hotel will be opened at the first stage. After that, the facility will be transformed into a multifunctional space and various services will be added, including veterinary care, a pet shop, dog training centre and etc.
“We are opening the space with the help of an investor. The cost of the project is about 70,000 GEL. I am against the aviary, so our hotel will have a different concept. In addition, the space will be able to host dogs, cats, birds and fish,” said Khatuna Melikishvili.
According to her, the new facility will probably employ up to 10 people with veterinary knowledge, who will be retrained with qualified and experienced staff on the spot.
Dog hotel “Ebi” is a family business that has been operating on the market for three years and offers customers a service for dogs weighing up to 10-15 kg.
