A small dog has dodged cars and escaped injury after running into a Melbourne tunnel yesterday.

Archie, the whippet, was spotted by Transurban running along CityLink and entering the Burnley Tunnel just before 3.30pm.

CCTV footage shows vehicles, including a motorcycle, slowing down and trailing behind the wandering whippet as they navigated through the tunnel.
