Trading Standards, Action Fraud and Google have been accused of failing to protect thousands of dog owners from a “rogue” online retailer.
Customers of Not in the Dog House, which sells pet supplies, have set up a Facebook group and even petitioned parliament begging for someone in authority to take action after they paid for items that never arrived.
Hundreds of victims have complained to Action Fraud but have received only a generic response claiming that “it has not been possible to identify a line of inquiry”. Many victims complained to Trading Standards but heard nothing back.
