Costume-wearing canines — and their owners — took part in the 9th Annual Dog Daze Canine Festival & Costume Contest on Saturday, Oct.
7, in Menifee.

The free event at at Aldergate Dog Park also included contests, raffles and vendors.

Trophies were awarded for the following categories: Cutest, Scariest, Best, Judges’ Choice and Best Human/Pet.

Dog Daze is organized by the Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District, which serves an 800-square-mile area that includes Hemet, San Jacinto, Valle Vista, Sage, Aguanga, Winchester, Menifee and French Valley, according to its 2020 master plan.
