Patriotic Pets Day at The News-Press: Sometimes dogs just want to be in July Fourth costumes, too.

The News-Press in Fort Myers held a Patriotic Pet Contest for its newspaper subscribers in July 2015, with a winner announced on July 13.

The celebration featured a parade followed by food, face painting, arts and crafts vendors, raffles, and playground games.
