Good Hands Boarding Kennels, situated in Cape Breton, offers a fun-filled place for pets to stay while their owners are working. In Canada, not only busy schedules but also harsh weather can make it tough for pet owners to drop off their furry friends. That’s why Good Hands introduced a brilliant solution: a school bus for dogs! Now, pups can ride with their buddies to the daycare center, no matter what the weather is like.
Each dog travels safely in their own crate inside the bus, which can hold up to ten dogs. Rain or shine, the bus stops at each house to pick up the excited pups.
When they arrive at Good Hands, the dogs leap off the bus and dash into the play area, eager to start their day. They have the freedom to play and explore as much as they like.
The daycare is a paradise for dogs, equipped with everything they could wish for—a swimming pool, balls to fetch, seesaws, and sandpits. It’s like a wonderland for pets, and they always have an amazing time.
This school bus service makes things easier for owners, but it’s really all about the dogs. “If the dogs can’t make it for whatever reason, I hate the thoughts of them sitting at home all day bored or in a crate when they could be here playing,” explained a worker from Good Hands. So I said, ‘We’ve got to go get them!’”

Merida is a senior who was found abandoned in a backyard with her sibling who had passed away. She was left to fend for herself as an 11-year-old with diabetes. Thankfully, Kanoa Rescue Foundation stepped in to save her, but she still needs your help!
