OCONOMOWOC — Pagenkopf Family Pet Cremation Services recently donated $5,000 for the purchase of “poop bag stations” for the future dog park in Roosevelt Park. The business also has committed to an ongoing donation of $1,000 per year for bags and maintenance of the stations in Toto's Territory. The stations will be purchased from Prestwick Limited, which is based in Sussex.
“We are very excited and honored to partner with the Pagenkopf Pet Cremation. While it’s not something pet owners want to think about, it’s nice to know the service is available in our community,” said Alderwoman Jennifer Aultman Kloth, who has been leading the effort for the dog park.
The plan for the approximately 16-acre dog park, which has been approved by the city, includes a 1.6-acre small dog area and a 14.7-acre large dog area, along with a water pad. The park would be located at 101 Forest St.
